Why electronic music? Its built on composing a piece of music to evoke emotion and ultimately cause persons to experience the track or song; not just hear it. Personally I believe if Mozart, Beethoven and other early composers were alive now, they would be doing electronic music because many of the principles applied in classical music are applied in electronic music. Well, most electronic music....
Now on to the good stuff....since December last year myself and label partner Andrae Draeday Palmer have been focusing on doing electronic remixes of dancehall songs. Some popular, some not so popular, but worth getting the remix treatment. The good news is that those remixes have been getting some serious air play, albeit in the electronic music segment of radio stations play-list!!!
